The final trailer for Toy Story 5 has arrived just as tickets for the film have gone on sale.

Disney and Pixar have released a brand-new look at the upcoming animated sequel film. Everyone's favorite toys — including Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and Forky (Tony Hale) — are back in this new look that shows off how Jessie feels about the new high-tech, frog-shaped smart tablet Lilypad, and the threat she brings to playtime.

Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee, calls the cowgirl "Jessica," which causes her to lash out at the device. Later, we see many toys gathered into a cardboard box and put into the garage.

"Are we getting donated?" Rex the dinosaur (Wallace Shawn) asks, after which Karen Beverly (Melissa Villaseñor) says, "Mmm, doughnuts!" Her partner, Forky, has to tell her, "No, sweetie. Do-na-ted!"

Joining the cast of the film is music superstar Bad Bunny. He plays the role of Pizza with Sunglasses. The cameo character is described as "effortlessly cool and mysterious" and "is a member of a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed."

Also announced as part of the film's voice cast is Alan Cumming. He will take on the voice of Evil Bullseye, a playtime alter ego of the lovable character Bullseye.

"While Woody’s trusty steed still lacks the power of speech in the world of Toy Story, Cumming provides Bullseye’s voice during a funny playtime sequence in the film," according to a press release.

Toy Story 5 is directed by WALL-E and Finding Nemo helmer Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Kenna Harris. Randy Newman returns to score his fifth Toy Story film. The movie rides like the wind into theaters on June 19.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to make her Broadway debut.

The actress will take to the stage in the first Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning play Other Desert Cities.

Louis-Dreyfus will be joined by a cast that includes Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Lily Rabe and Stranger Things star Joe Keery, who also makes his Broadway debut in the production.

Other Desert Cities is scheduled for a 16-week limited engagement at New York's Hudson Theatre. Performances begin on Sept. 29 with an opening night set for Oct. 18. The show will run until Jan. 17, 2027.

Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey is set to direct the revival of the play, which was written by Jon Robin Baitz. The show follows a family who have a huge secret.

"On Christmas Eve, the sunlit Palm Springs home of a politically connected family becomes a battleground of memory, loyalty, and legacy when a daughter returns with a memoir and the power to expose the explosive truth they’ve kept hidden. As the past comes into focus, the question isn’t just what happened, but who owns a family’s story, and what is the cost to tell it," according to an official description.

Baitz said he had more or less "talked myself out of imagining Other Desert Cities back in New York."

"But John Hickey is family to me, and I trust him completely. We go back longer than I ever imagined: he hears a play – its ideas, its feeling, its music – with an intelligence and knowingness that anchors a room," Baitz said. "And with this company of actors, a playwright dreams about, I thought that if there were still something alive in it, they would find it."

It's been eight years since the last episode, but just like that — abracadabra — Sofia the First is back. Ariel Winter reprises her role as the voice of Sofia in Sofia the First: Royal Magic.

"There's so much that's exciting about being able to be Sofia again. ...She is just such an amazing little character. It was amazing in the first place to be able to influence young kids in such a positive way," she tells ABC Audio, noting she's grateful for the chance to return. "Sofia's just such a great character. She's so kind and empathetic and brave and welcoming to everyone. I feel like that's just something that we really could use these days." 

This time round, "Sofia's in a whole new world now than she was before," as she's now enrolled in a school for royal magic.

"That comes with all sorts of new adventures. She has discovered that she is the most magical princess in the Ever Realm, which is so cool," Ariel reveals. "And we'll get to see more princesses this time. We actually have Moana this season, which is really exciting. There's just so much new stuff and a lot of new characters."

She hopes that young viewers watching the show learn "to be kind to everybody...go into every situation glass half full and try to do your best to be good to people and be your best self in as many situations as possible."

Ariel adds that adults watching with their kids can also enjoy in the series.

"As a grown person watching the show, it's fun, the world is so fun, the music is so great," she says, noting they can also learn from Sofia's top-tier conflict resolution skills. 

The first episodes of Sofia the First: Royal Magic are now on Disney+.

This is the way to the top of the box office.

The Force was strong with Lucasfilm's The Mandalorian and Grogu as the Star Wars film opened at #1 with a total of $100 million over the three-day Memorial Day weekend, according to Box Office Mojo

The Mandalorian and Grogu marks the first theatrical Star Wars movie in seven years and the big screen debut of the two title characters, who are originally from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal plays Mandalorian Din Djarin, a helmeted bounty hunter akin to the original trilogy's Boba Fett, who's accompanied by the Force-sensitive Grogu, who you may also know as Baby Yoda.

Coming in at #2 at the box office is the horror film Obsession, which scared up $30.4 million over the holiday weekend, an increase from the $17.2 million it earned over its debut weekend.

The Michael Jackson biopic Michael followed at #3 with another $26.9 million, bringing its total domestic gross to more than $320 million.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 took fourth place with $16.5 million, while The Sheep Detectives rounded out the top five with $12.8 million.

It seems progress is being made on a sequel to the Michael Jackson biopic Michael.

Lionsgate Studios Motion Picture Chair Adam Fogelson said he's "really excited about the progress we’re making" on a sequel to Michael during the company’s quarterly earnings call on Thursday.

"All the conversations that we’ve been having with all of the appropriate parties continue to go exceptionally well, and I would say that there is a ton of incredibly entertaining Michael Jackson story, and much of the biggest and most popular parts of his music catalog that were not touched upon in the first film,” Fogelson said on the call.

As for what events from Jackson's life would be covered in a potential second film, Fogelson said the studio "can go forwards and backwards in telling this story."

"There are so many other events that happened, even in the time frame of the original movie, that weren’t touched upon. So we’re very, very confident that we’ve got an incredibly entertaining movie that will appeal once again to a global audience as the pieces come together," Fogelson said.

The Lionsgate executive also said the studio has "25% to 30% of a second movie already shot from the prior production activity."

"Obviously that will have some benefit ultimately. But we’ll make sure we make a big and satisfying movie for a global audience once again, so I wouldn’t want to quantify exactly what that’s going to look like. But undoubtedly that 25% to 30% will be material,” Fogelson said.

Michael opened in theaters on April 24. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film starred the King of Pop's nephew Jaafar Jackson and also featured Colman Domingo, Miles Teller and Nia Long.

We now know who Charlie Heaton will play in the Peaky Blinders universe.

Netflix and the BBC have revealed that Heaton is set to play Tommy Shelby's eldest son in the upcoming Peaky Blinders sequel series. A photo of Heaton on set in costume as Charles Shelby has been released along with the announcement.

Heaton's character had been a mystery since his casting was announced in April. Jamie Bell also joins the sequel series, taking over the role of Charles' half brother, Duke, who was originally portrayed by Barry Keoghan.

The upcoming Peaky Blinders sequel series is written and created by Steven Knight. It is currently being filmed in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham, England.

This new Peaky Blinders era is set a decade after World War II. It follows the race to rebuild Birmingham as it becomes "a brutal contest of mythical dimensions," according to a description from Netflix.

"Having fought a violent war, much of it behind enemy lines, Charles Shelby is now embracing normality. He hasn’t seen his half-brother Duke ... in years. Charles severed all ties to the Peaky Blinders gang, and the hedonistic Shelby lifestyle. But can you ever escape your own blood?" the show's logline reads.

Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch and Lucy Karczewski are also set to star in the series, in roles that Netflix says will be revealed at a later date.

Boots Riley follows up Sorry to Bother You with his new film I Love Boosters, now in theaters. Like his previous film, the movie blends surrealism, comedy and a star-studded cast, including LaKeith Stanfield, Taylour Paige, Naomi Ackie and Demi Moore.

“[I Love Boosters] takes place in the world of professional shoplifters,” he tells ABC Audio. “You could roughly say it’s a heist comedy, and then you just add the fact of the cast, and you don’t have to say more. If you want to know more than that, you want to know too much.”

While Sorry to Bother You used telemarketing to critique capitalism, this film focuses on boosters aka professional shoplifters. Boots says he had personal experience with that world during his years as a "broke rapper" trying to keep up with fashion.

He explains, “I’ve spent decades being a broke rapper ... and when you have no money and you’re trying to stay fly, you better call a booster."

The film follows a group of professional shoplifters who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven by stealing her clothes and reselling them.

Boots says his interest in boosters comes from how often they are “villainized,” suggesting they play a role in working-class communities and communities of color.

“Boosters serve in a world in which style ... is generated from communities of color and other poorer communities that can’t afford the stuff that gets generated from those inspirations,” he argues. “And so boosters actually end up ... being something that holds the community together while people are trying to survive.”

The film also stars Keke Palmer, whom Boots says he wanted to challenge creatively.

“People think she’s inspiring on film, and on TV and on Instagram. She’s more so in person,” he says. “She’s such a bright, shining beacon and she is smart as hell.” 

He adds that he believes the film is both of their best work.

Back in 1964, Paul McCartney played The Ed Sullivan Show with The Beatles. And on Thursday night, he returned to the same venue to turn out the lights on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Sir Paul returned to Ed Sullivan Theater, as it was renamed in 1967, to sit for an interview with Colbert on the host's final broadcast, and then performed The Beatles' "Hello Goodbye," with Colbert singing backup, along with Elvis Costello, former bandleader Jon Batiste and the show's staff.

During the interview, Colbert asked McCartney if the theater still brings back memories. "When you close your eyes, do you hear the girls screaming?" "Yeah," McCartney replied as the women in the audience screamed wildly.

"How often does that happen to you at this point?" Colbert asked when the screams died down. "Often," said McCartney.

McCartney also reminisced about how, when The Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, they got makeup put on them for the cameras and "it was, like, bright orange." "That’s very popular in certain circles these days,” joked Colbert.  “Now we know where it started. Thanks a lot, Paul McCartney!"

Sir Paul also talked about the romantic vision The Beatles had of America as "the land of the free, the greatest democracy," adding, "That was what it was. It still is, hopefully."

Prior to "Hello Goodbye," Colbert, Costello and Batiste performed an obscure Costello song, "Jump Up."  Then, as "Hello Goodbye" faded out, Colbert went to turn out the lights, and beckoned McCartney to join him. He threw the switch, the building went dark, and it was then sucked into a wormhole and spit out into a snow globe, being sniffed at by a dog. We then heard Colbert's voice saying, "C'mon Benny, let's go," and the show ended.

Din Djarin makes his theatrical debut in the new movie Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Pedro Pascal once again stars as the Mandalorian bounty hunter in the film, which arrives in theaters everywhere on Friday. He told ABC News that one of his earliest memories of going to the movie theater as a child was to see Star Wars.

"I was born in '75, so there was a rerelease of Star Wars before The Empire Strikes Back because I saw it in the movie theater. Obi-Wan Kenobi was decapitated by Darth Vader in my very, very, very early childhood," Pascal said. "Getting tickets to Return of the Jedi ... it's just a day I'll never forget."

Pascal said this John Favreau-directed film is for the Star Wars fans, but it's also for people who are just now starting their journey with its expansive universe.

"John Favreau has been brilliant about creating an experience that if you love Star Wars there's so much in there for you to experience in the context of ... all of the Star Wars storytelling that we've had from the beginning up until now," Pascal said. "But it's also that kind of experience that I had when I saw my first Bond movie, of which I hadn't seen any of the other ones, I didn't know who James Bond was."

Even though he went in unaware of the Bond universe, he left the theater "owned by Moonraker as a kid" and "on a ride that I didn't want to get off." 

"I love that this can be that for people," Pascal continued.

Kerry Washington has found her next TV role.

The actress is set to star in and executive produce a new thriller drama called What Remains, ABC Audio has confirmed. Hulu is developing the series that is based on Wendy Walker's 2023 novel of the same name.

What Remains follows what happens to Detective Elise Sutton (Washington) after she takes the life of a disturbed man in the line of duty.

Detective Sutton, who is known as "a devoted wife, loving mother, and cold case specialist — reels from the guilt of her actions," according to the show's official logline. "To convince herself that she did the right thing, she makes contact with a mysterious man that she saved that day, only to discover that he's not at all what he seems. She’s soon caught in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, following the clues he leaves for her and realizing that the only person who can stop him…is her."

A Million Little Things' Chris Luccy is set to write the adaptation while McG will direct it. Both are set to executive produce. The series hails from 20th Television and Kapital Entertainment.

USA Today bestselling author Walker is set to produce the series. Her psychological suspense novels have been translated into over 23 different languages.

Chlöe's worlds of music and acting unite in the upcoming Peacock film Strung.

She plays Laila, "a talented violinist [who] takes a prestigious job as a music tutor for the gifted daughter of an influential and enigmatic family," according to a press release.

A recently released trailer for the film shows Laila considering the position after being approached by the family matriarch, played by Lynn Whitfield. "We need somebody, a full-time live-in music tutor for my granddaughter," Lynn's character says while giving Laila a tour of the home.

"The type of money they paying, it's the perfect opportunity," Laila says as decides whether she should take the job.

Things take a turn when she's introduced to the gifted Zuri, who emerges with a mask on her face and warns, "The Zulu believe if you die in your dreams, you die in real life. Be careful what you dream."

"As she becomes entangled in their opulent world, unsettling secrets begin to surface, forcing her to question her safety, her dreams, and even her sanity," the press release says of Laila.

"Something is wrong in that house," Chlöe says in the trailer.

Strung premieres June 26 and also stars Lucien Laviscount, Anna Diop, Coco Jones and Romy Woods.

"i’m fighting for my life!!!" Chlöe wrote on socials when announcing the film's trailer.

In a statement, director Malcolm D. Lee said he was drawn to "the script's twists and turns," adding that the film combines "lush visuals, captivating performances and a riveting soundtrack that captivates viewers" designed to keep viewers on edge.

He then concluded with a tease: "Prepare to be Strung…"

Au revoir, Emily in Paris.

Netflix has announced that the popular romance series will end after its upcoming season 6. The sixth and final season has just started production in Greece.

Lily Collins once again stars as the titular American marketing executive who moved overseas for work. She shared a video message with fans of Emily in Paris after the news broke that the show was coming to an end.

"After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I'm here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final. Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily's adventure of a lifetime," Collins said in the video. "Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we're now filming. I can't wait for all of the magic ahead, and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet. We're so incredibly grateful and we love you all. A bientot!"

The video video shows off many of the series' stars, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie and Eugenio Franceschini.

Darren Star created the show, which he also executive produces and writes for.

Vivica A. Fox stars in the film Is God Is, a story about twin sisters, played Kara Young and Mallori Johnson, who have severe burn scars after surviving their father's attempt to murder them, along with their mother. Her character, Ruby, sets them on a revenge mission to kill their dad, shaping the film's central storyline — a role Vivica said she appreciated.

"Ruby was the catalyst of basically setting off the revenge mission for the girls. So I loved it," she said, noting she also enjoyed "working with the girls, Kara and Mallori."

"They were so, so phenomenally prepared, so phenomenally talented that it just really made the experience easy," she continued.

The challenge came when it was time to dress for the part of a fire survivor.

"The hardest part was the prosthetics," Vivica said, noting it took four hours to complete the look. "The funniest part, just to add a little bit of humor to it, was when people would come to set wanting to meet Vivica Fox, and I turned around and I was like, 'Hey,' and it was like, 'Oh my God.'"

She credited director Aleshea Harris for putting together a team that helped make it all possible.

"She hired the best people to work with us to make it believable," Vivica said, "and I appreciate that I've been blessed to have the opportunity to play Ruby a way that my audience has never seen me."

Through her character, Vivica hopes women can learn "to be strong, to know that you can be a survivor and a thriver, and to be honest."

The Testaments is getting a second season.

Ahead of its season 1 finale, slated to air next week, Hulu announced that the hit series, starring Ann Dowd, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Rowan Blanchard and more, will continue.

Infiniti, who plays Agnes in the series, took to her Instagram Story following the announcement, writing, "Season 2 babyyyyy."

She added, "Thank you for all the love on our show."

Based on Margaret Atwood's 2019 novel of the same name, The Testaments is set 15 years after the events of The Handmaid's Tale and focuses on a group of teens who have grown up in the fictional dystopian society of Gilead as they navigate Aunt Lydia's elite preparatory school for future wives.

Elisabeth Moss, who portrayed June Osborne in The Handmaid's Tale, reprises her Emmy Award-winning role as a guest on The Testaments and serves as an executive producer on the show.

Also starring in the series are Mattea Conforti, Mabel Li, Amy Seimetz, Brad Alexander, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Eva Foote, Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Birva Pandya and Kira Guloien.

Since it premiered in April, viewership for the show has grown week over week, garnering more than 45 million hours streamed globally on Hulu and Disney+ to date, according to a press release from Hulu.

The season 1 finale of The Testaments will arrive Wednesday, May 27, on Hulu.

Cliff Booth isn't just headed to the big screen, it's headed to the biggest screens around.

Director David Fincher's latest film will arrive in IMAX theaters for an exclusive two-week run beginning Thanksgiving weekend before it debuts to Netflix in December.

Cliff Booth stars Brad Pitt back in the Oscar-winning role he first portrayed in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood. It will be available to watch on IMAX screens starting on Nov. 25. Netflix subscribers will be able to stream the film on Dec. 23.

Fincher directs Cliff Booth from a screenplay written by Tarantino. While plot details are being kept under wraps for the time being, Netflix describes it as a return to the world of Cliff Booth, "only this time it’s 1977 and it’s a very different Hollywood."

Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian also star in the upcoming movie. Pitt is producing the film alongside Ceán Chaffin.

Cliff Booth takes the theatrical release date that Greta Gerwig's Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew previously held before it was moved from Thanksgiving to February 2027.

Matt Damon is in talks to team up with the filmmakers behind Everything Everywhere All at Once for his next project.

The actor is being eyed to star in Universal Pictures' upcoming, untitled event film from directors Daniels, ABC Audio has learned.

Universal Pictures had no comment when reached by ABC Audio.

Damon would replace Ryan Gosling in the project. Gosling was announced to star in the film back in March, although he dropped out of the project in April due to scheduling reasons.

This upcoming event film marks the first directing project for Daniels, the filmmaking duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, since sweeping the 95th Oscars in 2023 for their groundbreaking film Everything Everywhere All at Once. That movie walked away with seven Oscars, including best picture, best actress, best supporting actor, best director and best supporting actress.

While plot details of the upcoming film remain under wraps, production on the project is expected to start in Los Angeles in the summer.

Kwan, Scheinert and Jonathan Wang will produce the movie through their Playgrounds overall deal with Universal Pictures.
