Corona Virus cases have now doubled in Evangeline to 8

Corona Virus Confirmed Cases March 30, 2020 The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Evangeline Parish have doubled, according to news from Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine. The confirmed cases are now at 8 here in Evangeline Parish. Mayor Jennifer is urging residents to take the virus serious. Stay home and off the streets. If you have to go out to do some shopping, don’t visit. Just do your grocery shopping and go back home. A reminder that Ville Platte is under a city wide curfew. The curfew for young people under 18 is 8:00pm at night. The curfew extends to everyone including adults and businesses at 9:00pm until 6:00am.
