The Ville Platte Police Department and your local AT&T retailer are hosting drop off points for bottled water and baby supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey.  Beaumont has lost all of their consumable water.  The hurricane waters have damaged their water pumps for their main line and their secondary line which means they have no clean water at this time.  They cannot repair the damage until the water recedes.  Beaumont has a population of over 100,000 people that will be affected by the water outage.  They are in critical need of consumable water.

You can drop off supplies at either the Ville Platte Police Department or the AT&T store next to Walmart in Ville Platte starting now and throughout the weekend.

If a business wishes to make a larger donation of supplies, we can arrange for the supplies to be picked up.

Along with bottled water we are hoping to collect baby wipes, diapers and blankets, soap and hand sanitizer.

For more information or to arrange a pick up time please call Connie at the Ville Platte Police Department.  337-363-1313
