Ville Platte Police Chief Neal Lartigue with the Ville Platte Police Department reports one arrest burglary of a business.

On April 11, 2018 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Officers with the Ville Platte Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at a business located in the 200 block of East Magnolia.  Upon arrival Officers learned that suspects cut a lock and entered the business at some point during the night of April 10, 2018.  The suspects stole two dirt bikes from inside the business and left heading in different directions.  Detectives through their investigation made one arrest and are seeking two others. 

Arrested was Corey Arvie, 23 of 205 David Street, Ville Platte.  Arvie was charged with simple burglary (felony), criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing.  Arvie was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on a $60,000.00 bond and was transferred to the Evangeline Parish Jail where he remains incarcerated. 

Detectives are would like to speak with Dakollian Deville and Abselon Herbert in reference to this incident.
